 Vintage Bike Series

I met Fr Scott Anderson at a 1990s Ace Cafe biking convention and was delighted when he agreed to be part of my vintage bike series.

The Blessing of the Bikes  (left) reenacts a ritual in which motorcycles are blessed for protection and safe journeys — inspired by 1950s ceremonies where riders gathered to honor their bikes and share camaraderie, care, and ritual.

Where Have All the Pigeons Gone?

 Pigeons in Trafalgar Square were phased out from 2003, and the fountains — once open to bathers — have been off-limits since the 2012 byelaws
